Job Summary
Works under the Mechanical engineering Manager- to provide new design of equipment for all lines of our businesses (time Clocks, IIS, Parking and Access). This position also handles maintaining of our- existing product through Engineering Change Notices..
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Design mechanical parts and mechanisms for use in our products for the time and Parking industries.
• Closely working with our factory to keep the design to the highest degree of
manufacturability
• Prototype evaluation including hands-on assembly
• Mechanical Engineering analysis
Job Requirements:
Education:
• BS in Mechanical Engineering.,
Experience:
• 1-3 year's experience in 3D mechanical design and drafting
• Experience using Auto Desk Inventor and Mechanical Desktop application
• Sheet metal design, experience
• Working with plastic molding parts a plus
• Good communication skills necessary in communicating with the factory (e, g. Word, Excel, and Project)
• Proficient in handling change requested (from request to Engineering Change Notice (ECN)

• Involved in the design of new and existing electronic equipments (Time and Parking control products) using Mechanical Desktop 1.2 and AutoCAD 2000 from concept to manufacturing.
• Created, analyzed and developed product concepts.
• Involved in creating/ordering prototype parts and assembling the prototypes.
• Designed precision machined and sheet metal parts manufactured through the
process of punching, bending and extrusion.
• Designed precision plastic parts and unit covers manufactured through
the process of injection molding, vacuum forming & thermoforming .
• Created 3-D solid models, assembly drawings and detailed 2D drawings with ANSI standards. Created Engineering Change Notices and revised drawings.
